World Modeling

World Modeling is building an understanding of how the world works. Examples of World Modeling content are math [e.g. 1, 2], physics [1], biology [1, 23], history [1, 2], economics [12, 3] , sociology [1, 2 ], and other scientific fields. World modelling here does typically not include the parts of artificial intelligence classified as AI Alignment and parts of psychology classified as Rationality.

The eleventh virtue is scholarship. Study many sciences and absorb their power as your own. Each field that you consume makes you larger. If you swallow enough sciences the gaps between them will diminish and your knowledge will become a unified whole. If you are gluttonous you will become vaster than mountains.
